Uncovering the mysteries of Neutrophil Biology

The Hsu Lab investigates how neutrophils regulate inflammation resolution, tissue repair, immune aging, and host defense. We seek to uncover how neutrophil functional states shape health and disease.

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR

Dr. Hsu is an immunologist studying how neutrophils orchestrate inflammation resolution and tissue repair during chronic inflammation and aging
PhD: Biological Sciences, Purdue University, USA
Postdoc training: Harvard Medical School

Scientific Philosophy

We believe that neutrophils are far more than short-lived inflammatory cells. By combining mechanistic immunology, cell biology, and disease models, we seek fundamental principles that explain how neutrophils coordinate inflammation, resolution, and tissue repair.
